What Are the Rates and Terms Like?
The rates are fixed, giving you predictability and enabling you to plan your finances in the long term.
Ygrene offers terms of 10, 15 and 20 years in all of its service areas. Flexible terms of 25 and 30 years are also available depending on the service area and the type and estimated useful life of the improvement.
Is PACE a Government Program?
Ygrene is not a government program. However, PACE programs are enabled by state legislation and must be approved by your local government.
How Is It Different from Credit-Based Financing?
PACE financing is a more flexible alternative to conventional credit-based financing. Eligibility is based mainly on property equity and not on your credit score. That said, while Ygrene does not take into account your credit score, we will still pull your credit during the underwriting process to help us assess your eligibility.
How Do I Make the Repayments?
The repayments are automatically added to and repaid with your property taxes. The timing of the first payment depends on the date of funding. Note that interest accrues after funding.
